HK Perfumes – Custom and Hybrid Fragrance Return Policy

At HK Perfumes, every custom and hybrid scents are hand-crafted, blended, and personalized based on the customer’s selections. Because these fragrances are made uniquely for each individual, they cannot be reused or resold.

For this reason, the following policy applies:


🧴 Custom Fragrance Return & Refund Policy

1. All Custom Fragrance Sales Are Final

Custom-made fragrances cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the order is created, processed, or blended.

2. Non-Refundable

Since each formula is individually crafted based on your selected notes and concentration, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Preference differences

  • Strength or projection expectations

  • Bottle size choice errors

3. If We Made a Mistake

If HK Perfumes made an error with your custom fragrance (wrong notes, wrong name on bottle, wrong size, or incorrect concentration), we will:

  • Remake the fragrance at no extra cost, OR

  • Offer store credit for the correct item.

We may request a photo or a short video to verify the mistake.

4. Damaged or Leaking Orders

If your custom fragrance arrives damaged or leaking:

  • Notify us within 48 hours

  • Provide photos/video of the damage

  • HK Perfumes will replace the bottle for free

5. Processing Time

Custom fragrances require additional time to blend and cure. Processing times may vary depending on order volume and can take 4–7 business days.

How to use a sample size?

What should I do before using the big fragrance? Examine its contents carefully for 
unusual discoloration. Find out if the scent meets your expectations or not. 

If you don't like the scent, and you want your money back? No problem, please follow the instructions below. 

Complimentary samples or gifts are promotional items. Refunds require the return of all items, including samples. If samples are missing, the refund may be denied or adjusted. Please note that free samples are not offered with bundles.

Note: If the samples are not returned with the main bottle, a $10 fee will be charged for each sample.


Return Policy.

Returns are allowed within 30 days of receiving your order. After 30 days, we are unable to issue a refund 

In order to be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, unused, and in the original packaging. 

To start returning, please ship the fragrance to hk PERFUMES 525 Bordway Lawrence, MA 01841, with a proof of purchase as well. 

Once we’ve received and inspected it, we will notify you by email about the refund. Within 3-7 business days.  

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please also provide clear images of the damaged bottle, the outside and inside packaging, the shipping label, and the shipping label attached to the shipping box.

Leaking Bottle Policy: If you receive a leaking bottle, please send us clear images showing the leakage on the bottle. We will issue a return label and send a replacement item once the leaking bottle item has been scanned by the shipping carrier.

If a wrong product is delivered to the customer.

If you have received the wrong product, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can promptly rectify the situation. If the mistake was on our end, we will happily cover the shipping costs for the return and replacement of the correct product. However, if the error was made by the customer, they will be responsible for the shipping fees associated with the return and replacement process. Let us work together to resolve this issue and ensure you receive the correct product on time.

Discounts, Promotions & Bundle Orders

Orders purchased with discounts, promotional codes, or bundle pricing are subject to adjusted refunds.

Discounts apply only when all items in the order are kept.

  • If any item is returned, the order will be recalculated at full retail price for items kept.
  • Refunds will be issued based on the adjusted total, not the original discounted price.

Free Shipping Policy:

If your order qualifies for free shipping and you request a return, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

For example, if your order is over $95 and you received free shipping, then return the item, a shipping fee of $7.34 will be deducted. You will receive a refund of $87.66

Partial returns on discounted orders may result in a reduced refund or no refund, depending on the items kept.

Bundle Policy

Bundle deals and multi-item promotions are only valid when all items are kept.

If part of a bundle is returned, the bundle discount will be removed.

  • Remaining items will be charged at full price.

 

Delivered 

If the order shows as delivered, but you can't find it, please ask your neighbors or contact the carriers. Please dial 1-800-833-0056 for UPS customer service. Contact USPS customer service at (800) 275-8777.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too. If more than 3-7 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at Info@hkperfumes.com

Return Shipping lable

HK Perfumes may provide a return shipping label as a one-time courtesy. Only one label will be issued per order. If a return shipment is refused, returned to sender, or otherwise undeliverable, the customer assumes responsibility for reshipping the item. Additional labels will not be provided.


NOTE: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
